POSITION: IT Manager
REPORTS TO: Finance Director
SUPERVISION given to: IT Supervisor, System Administrators, System Support & Helpdesk personnel
Liaison/Collaborates: Regional IT, Hardware/Telecom/Software vendors
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
Summary: Responsible for planning, organizing and execution of IT and telecoms functions for the company. Is required to work closely with the Regional IT team to ensure corporate IT standards/guidelines are enforced.
Nature & Scope:
Manages activities of workers engaged in I.T. operations. Ensures policies and procedures for carrying out I.T. operations are followed, highlights and works to close discrepancies. Manages and support I.T. staff, discuss progress of work, resolve IT problems, and ensure that agreed service level agreement for the department are met. Meets with users to determine quality of service and identify needs and assists in developing I.T. strategic plan for the organization. Develops budget and monitors expenditures .

QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION:
Required Education and/or Experience: Degree, plus minimum 10 years’ experience managing and/or directing technological operations.
Preferred Education and/or Experience: A master’s degree and ITIL certification is desirable. Ability to converse in Latin American Spanish.
Salary is commensurate with candidate’s qualifications.
