Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department including all reconciliations and payables functions
• Manage the financial reporting mechanism for both internal and regulatory reports
• Design and management of the operational mechanism of the Bank’s investment portfolio
• Oversee the general ledger reporting system maintaining sound internal control safeguards
• Coordinate preparation and execution of audits by regulators and independent auditors
• Participate in the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes of the Bank

Qualification & Experience

• The controller candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business, Auditing, Accounting, or Finance. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s Degree in those fields
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience with a deep background and familiarity with report writer programs and data extraction systems to automate all financial reporting processes
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to team work
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead
