Choice Bank is inviting applications for the post of Chief Internal Auditor.

The Chief Internal Auditor is charged with carrying out an independent and objective assurance
function designed to add value and improve the Bank’s operations and systems of internal controls.
The Chief Internal Auditor assists the Bank with accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic,
disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and
governance processes.

Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree in accounting .
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in auditing or financial management.
• Well developed appreciation of internal controls related to the effectiveness/efficiency of Bank
  operations, safe guarding of assets, reliability of reported data and compliance with laws,
  regulations and policy & procedures.
• Strong understanding of Belize Banking regulations and international banking practices.
• Strong aptitude towards analysis and problem solving.
• Effective written and verbal skills.
• Solid research skills and competent computer knowledge of spreadsheets, financial accounting
  and word processing applications.
